Life without Randy Moss may not be beautiful in Minneapolis, but it should be less stressful. The Vikings have been doing some admirable things in free agency, enlisting, among others, S Darren Sharper, QB Brad Johnson, DT Pat Williams and WR Travis Taylor. With selection No. 7, they are positioned to reach for a receiver to spell Moss, possibly Mike Williams of USC. Williams being gone, Mike Tice would be expected to conduct a defense-orientated draft.
